Description of Jewellery
This piece draws from butterfly motifs found in Miao silverwork, where wing structures are formed through layered filigree and mirrored outlines. The design interprets these elements with a clarity suited to contemporary wear.
The composition sets the wings within a symmetrical framework, allowing the form to remain defined while retaining the visual language of the traditional motif. The structure is kept balanced and measured, emphasising proportion and the precision of each outline.
Made in 990 silver through long-practised filigree techniques, the earrings highlight the line, structure and the articulation of each element.
