Description of Jewellery
This piece draws from decorative motifs used in traditional Miao clothing, where repeated outlines and sectional arrangements define the structure of the pattern. The design extracts these textile elements and adapts them into a format suited to contemporary jewellery.
The surface is formed through relief carving in 990 silver, establishing the central dome and surrounding petal forms through measured variations in depth. The outline remains balanced and precise, reflecting the ordered geometry characteristic of historical floral ornament.
The earrings present a long-standing motif from Miao dress in a distilled modern interpretation, maintaining clear reference to their original context.
